Hey frens, the world may be collectively holding its breath to know election results, but here at Aavegotchi HQ we’re working overtime to ensure Aavegotchi launches on time! Check out the highlight reel then keep reading for a deep dive!

Raffle contracts bug bounty — max prize 10,000 DAI
Just six days left until our first FRENS Raffle begins on Nov. 10! The Raffle and Voucher contracts are both open-source and viewable on the official Aavegotchi repo.
Wanna make some quick cash? Find vulnerabilities or bugs within the Raffle or Voucher contracts that can lead to contracts being frozen, tickets being improperly withdraw, or any other non-ideal behavior of the Raffle.sol and Voucher.sol contracts.
We have categorized the rewards into four rough categories:
- 100 to 1000 DAI: Minor bugs that don’t affect the Raffle but should be fixed
- 1000 to 2000 DAI: Medium-level bugs that impact execution of the Raffle, but do not compromise it
- 2000 to 5000 DAI: Severe vulnerabilities that compromise the integrity and fairness of the Raffle
- 5000 to 10,000 DAI: Major exploits which freeze the contract, steal user tickets, or otherwise result in lost user assets

Dev Update 1 — Aavegotchi Testnet Updates
Now that the GHST Staking and Raffle contracts are complete, we’ve turned our attention 100% to finishing the Aavegotchi Core contracts before early December. We’ve set a deadline of early December to hand the contracts over to Quantstamp for auditing, to be ready in time for Christmas.
This week we made great progress on rendering Aavegotchis 100% onchain, viewing their art clientside, and even adding some basic animations!
You can view the updates on Kovan Testnet. Just get yourself some Portals, and start opening to see what’s inside! (Unfortunately we had to instigate another Aavegotchi Aapocalypse to push the changes, so your previous gotchis will no longer display. Don’t get too attached :P )
Dev Update 2 — Test Raffle Live on Kovan
Curious how the Raffle is going to look on Nov. 10? You don’t have to wait! Between now and Nov. 10, we’ll be launching two Raffles on Kovan testnet, each lasting for a few days.
Obviously the prizes you win won’t carry over to Ethereum Mainnet, but it’s a great chance to get familiar with the UI and give us any feedback on features you think should be added.

Halloween Paarty Recap
Our Discord hosted Halloween Party was like one big community call on steroids (or lots of sugar!). That means it was a great time with hundreds of people joining the festivities. Aave founder himself, Stani Kulechov (@stanikulchov), kicked the party off by welcoming everyone and introducing a live music performance from crypto artist, Harrison First (@harrison_first).
The next 90 minutes saw lots of frens join Coder Dan (@coderdannn) and Jesse (@gldnxross) on the voice chat including the OpenSea and Matic Network teams. The $CHERRY social token gang also brought the party vibes, with Cherry herself joining on video to share project updates.
The biggest highlight of the night had to be the amazing costume contest which was honestly better than most IRL costume contests. Incredible creativity and humour were on display with over 35 decorated Aavegotchi’s submitted through the week leading up to the event. The top 3 costumes as voted on in real time were:
- AavegotchIT by esveebee
- Lil Gotchi Zombie by Flamee (actually his pixel artist daughter)
- The Leader by PoW Miner
The night ended with a Aavegotchi Team AMA with Coder Dan beatboxing while Jesse dropped a quick 16 bars cuz it’s a paarty! Uhn tiss uhn tiss 🎤
Twitter Contest — How many Godlikes?
A lot of frens are asking us, how many FRENS have been generated already? How many Godlikes do you think are going to enter?
For the former, our guess is around 100,000,000 total, using an average of about 5,000,000 FRENS being generated per day, from Oct. 21 to Nov. 10.
But about the latter…we have no idea either! That’s why we wanna see what you think.
We’re launching a Twitter giveaway to see who can most accurately guess how many Godlike tickets will be entered by the end of the first Raffle.
Each Twitter account can only enter once, and we’ll be selecting the winners by earliest date entered.
The prizes are:
1st place: 150 GHST
2nd place: 100 GHST
3rd place: 50 GHST
